Choral and Cellular explores the tension between the collective and the individual.

• The Choral element celebrates Jennifer’s distinctive choral compositions and vocal arrangements, inviting other voices — and often the audience — into expansive, layered sound worlds.

• The Cellular element tells deeply personal, non-linear stories. Sometimes autobiographical, sometimes observational, these moments are raw, playful, and reflective — addressing themes of abandonment, solitude, resilience, and transformation.

Using voice as instrument, sung, polyphonic, spoken, electronica, and live multi-instrumental performance (piano, guitar, violin), Jennifer brings intimate storytelling into dialogue with the collective power of ensemble voices.

This work builds on Jennifer’s celebrated practice in vocal workshops, masterclasses, and vocational singing projects — now reimagined within a theatrical frame. Choral and Cellular marks her transition into composer-performer in theatre, creating a staged work that is both deeply personal and powerfully collective.
