Enormous Vocal Ensemble

With Joan as Police Woman

Initiated and led by Jennifer John, Enormous Vocal Ensemble is the first in a series of large-scale collective singing projects that bring together grassroots communities with established artists.

For the debut project, Jennifer collaborated with Joan As Police Woman, re-arranging one of her original songs for a mass vocal ensemble. On the day of the event, Jennifer taught the arrangement to the assembled singers — transforming the audience into a powerful collective choir — before Joan joined them live for the performance.

The event was filmed as a documentary, capturing the unique energy of trust, spontaneity, and unity that defines the EVE concept. Future editions will continue to build bridges between communities and celebrated artists, reimagining the relationship between performers and audiences through collective voice.
